Description
Cachos are important to indigenous music, and these hand-crafted Andean Cachos are made in Lima, Peru. They are a traditional percussion instrument from the Andes & have a rich pre-Colombian tradition. This Cacho is bound together with string and adorned with a hand woven cinta or strap before being attached to the bamboo handle. Cachos are used by Andean Groups to keep rhythm when they are shaken to the beat. Colors will vary. Approx. 4" x 4"
