Benjamin Ordaz

Benjamin Ordaz is an active music teacher, tuba performer, and scholar. He is currently Lecturer of Tuba & Euphonium at Northern Arizona University (NAU), and a member of the nationally-renowned Salt River Brass Band. He has performed with the Iceland Symphony, Utah Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, New Mexico Symphony, Santa Fe Symphony, and the Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra. Previous to his appointment to NAU, he was the band director at Cheyenne and Cotton Boll Elementaries in Peoria (AZ) Unified School District, and a founding member of El Sistema after-school orchestral education at American Preparatory Academy in West Valley City, Utah.
