Inspired by Schumann’s Album for the Young, Tchaikovsky penned his own Album for Children, subtitled “Collection of easy pieces in the style of Schumann.” Editors Müller-Doppler and Ludwig realized that these charming piano solos would adapt well for flute students, and presented their own arrangements for flute and piano.
