Description
Jacques Francois Gallay for the natural horn in the mid-nineteenth century. Gallay was one of the last of the great hand-horn players, and as successor to Dauprat as professor of horn at the Paris Conservatory, he is credited with delaying the acceptance of the valve-horn in France. These were written with F or Eb tuba specifically in mind, however trombone and euphonium players might find them useful as supplemental low practice etudes.
