Description
Johann Georg Albrechtsberger has been remembered mostly for being a teacher of Beethoven, but he has also given the trombone world a truly wonderful concerto for alto trombone. This edition by Paul Angerer is very clean and clear and provides composed cadenzi. The work itself is rather virtuosic for the alto trombonist. One of the few classical concerti available for the trombone, and an excellent work!
