Gabriel Faure was a French composer, organist, pianist and teacher. Elegie was originally for Cello and Orchestra, composed in 1883. This edition is done by French trombone soloist Jacques Mauger. The work itself is very beautiful and showcases well the lyrical abilities of the trombone. Requires a trombonist w/f-attachment and a command of all registers as it the range is from C2 to C5.
