Description
Over the course of his career, Robert McGinnis played clarinet in the orchestras of Philadelphia, Cleveland, San Francisco and New York. He was principal clarinetist of the New York Philharmonic from 1948 to 1960 under the conductors Bruno Walter, Dimitri Mitropoulos and Leonard Bernstein. He edited four volumes of excerpts for International Music Co.
