Description
This famous caprice by the legendary violin virtuoso Niccolo Paganini is a theme with variations. Its theme was also famously used by Rachmaninoff as the basis for his own theme and variations for piano and orchestra. It is transcribed here for solo saxophone by Jamal Rossi, saxophonist and dean of the Eastman School of Music.
