The THREE pound OUTLAW™ is not exactly a hard case. It is light and tiny (like a gig bag), but responds well to heavy bumps. The CHUCKWALLA™ protects a ton of mutes and holds a 14-inch wide music folder. This is the most versatile case made by Torpedo Bags — PERFECT for kids and pros who are tired of heavy cases, but don’t want to sacrifice protection.
The CHUCKWALLA™ is a wrap-around Mute Bag / Music Pouch, and has a spot for mutes that is protected by a stiff sheet of plastic. Your music folder goes in there, too, and it’s super wide @ 14".
Protection
1.5 to 3 inches of foam on all sides of your trumpet, and that foam is surrounded by a single piece of plastic all the way around, on top, and on the bottom. No gig bag can compare to this gig case.
