SYNCO - Drum Set Method

SYNCO is a collection of demanding drum set independence concepts and advanced rhythmic concepts designed for students and educators who are looking for challenging material outside the familiar tropes of genre-oriented study. Some of the material will be best utilized with a previous understanding of the common drum texts Stick Control by George Stone and Advanced Techniques for the Modern Drummer. In addition to the clever novelty of the exercises, it is accompanied by equally original graphics and backgrounds.

Zach Miller is an educator, performer and composer in Minneapolis, MN. Since receiving a degree in percussion from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2000, he has been teaching as an adjunct professor at various universities (University of Wisconsin-Superior, North Central University, Bethel University). As a performer, Zach tours nationally with recording artists Eric Hutchinson and Sara Groves. When home in Minneapolis, he performs and records with many other artists including The Potash Twins, Vicky Keri Noble, Vicky Emerson and more. His solo album, Auburn Heights, features soundscape filled cinematic instrumental compositions that utilize complex rhythms and harmonies.
