Variations - For 6-like Saxophones

Variations is written for any homogenous group of Woodwinds, Strings, Mallet Percussion, or Keyboards. The number of performers may vary; however, one or two players per part is best. Sample performance groups could be Flute Choir (6 or 12 players), String Sextet or String Orchestra, Piano Ensemble, Synthesizer Ensemble, Electric or Acoustic Guitar Ensemble, Saxophone Ensemble, Clarinet Ensemble, etc.

Six parts are written in the score. The number of players per part may vary. For coordination, it is easiest to use one player per part; however, Parts IV and V may have 2 players per part while other parts have one player per part. With this arrangement, the minimum number of players for the work is eight.
