Score Only. The Choric Quintett, a short piece of only medium difficulty, is intended for youthful performers (above all for school orchestras) and takes into account the instruments most likely to be available, grouping together recorders, strings and other wind instruments. The score is thus played by two groups in octave relationship to one another: Group 1: Group 2: Each of the recorder players sits next to his corresponding partner in the lower-octave group. The piece may of course be studied and performed by each quintet alone. In this case there is no objection to a choric instrumentation, especially of the 3rd, 4th and 5th parts of the recorder ensemble. It must also be pointed out that, should only soprano and alto recorders be available, the tenor and bass recorders mayt be replaced by violin and viola. Duration: 8 minutes. For Roy Miller.
- I. Bewegte Viertel
- II. Sehr ruhig gestrafft
- III. Leicht und munter
- IV. Schnell
