Q: What materials do you use where the guitars touch the rack, and is it safe?

A: We use wool felt at all guitar contact points to keep your guitar finishes safe, especially if you have valuable guitars with a nitro-cellulose finish.

Q: What size and shape of guitars will fit the Carousel?

A: Most electrics and dreadnought acoustics with curved bottoms will fit. But instruments with extreme angular bottoms, such as Flying Vs or Firebirds or Explorers, will not fit.

And if you have an oversize or non-conventional shaped instrument (like jumbo guitars, Dobros and other resonators, or Weissenborn lap slide guitars), it’s best you measure your guitar and use the following dimensions as your guide:

1. max depth of instrument neck from fret-side to back-side: 1.5″
2. max length of instrument body: 26″
3. max thickness of instrument body: 6.5″

Q: Will the Carousel still rotate if it is placed on carpeting?

A: Yes, the Carousel will spin just as easily on carpeting as it would a hard surface. The rotating guitar stand actually sits on a separate base and spins on that base, not directly on the carpet.
