Faithful Tunes - Handbell DVD

Innovative, Interactive Support Material for RB107 and RB108 Eight Note Handbell Sets Ringers with various levels of performing experience can join together playing the RB107 or RB108 handbell sets in ensemble as they explore the Faithful Tunes arrangements. There are seven well-known Hymn Tunes included in the package, a total of twenty-eight inspirational lessons. Each Hymn is presented in four variations that include stirring accompaniments to motivate high quality musical expression. Variation One: The melody is presented with text included to encourage singing as well as playing the notes. If more practice is needed for mastery, move to Variation Two. Variation Two: The melody is studied at a slower tempo with note name letters included for beginners or those who do not read music. Variation Three: A harmony or descant part suitable for more experienced players. Variation Four: A performance accompaniment track allowing any individual part to be played or all parts to be layered together for presentation to an audience. In each of the 28 animations, the bells and melody notes appear on the screen in sync with the accompaniment when it is time to ring, helping players understand the function of music notation. Bell group leaders will appreciate the power animation has to help ringers focus on the exact playing point of each part! This innovative support material is formatted to be played on computers, Blu-Ray, or DVD players. Purchasers of Faithful Tunes have permission from the publisher to make one, nontransferable, copy of the animations to a personal computer. Projecting the animations from a computer media player offers many advantages for video navigation and for utilizing creative teaching techniques.
