Description
A somewhat whimsical and cartoonish piece, Goldberg's Machine is a very challenging piece for low brass quartet, with probably more constant meter changes than anything else I've written before. The title comes from the famed cartoon machines by artist Rube Goldberg. Constantly moving in new directions, complicated almost beyond comprehension, one wonders, 'But what does it do?' Written for North Texas Euphonium Quartet.
