Prepared by Eugene Migliaro Corporon and compiled and edited by Richard Miles, each listed work includes the title, composer, publisher, timing, year published, and available recording. Also included are biographies of each of the composers, with cross- references to works, publisher and personal websites, and other sources for additional information. Corporon, Miles, and a team of contributors shed light on several questions including: What soloists or soli groups have received the most attention? How many historical periods are represented? Who have been the major contributors? What is the availability of recordings?
