Description
Written in 1948, Heitor Villa-Lobos dedicated this Fantasia to French saxophonist Marcel Mule. Originally composed in F Major, Villa-Lobos later trascribed it to E-flat Major, which is the version presented here in a newly edited edition based on the manuscript and Roland Dowdy's dissertation "The Saxopone Music of Heitor Villa-Lobos: The Restoration of the Fantasia and the Discovery of A Roseira."
