For B-flat clarinet, bass clarinet, and piano. Paul Jeanjean (1874-1928) is perhaps best known today for his etudes, his Vade Mecum, and his Arabesques, but he was a rather prolific composer. He wrote this Duo de Concert in 1904, dedicated to his friends Henri Paradis of the Paris Opera and P. de Sainte-Marie, bass clarinetist from Monte Carlo. Originally published by Evette and Schaeffer, it was virtually lost for many years until David Gould (American Ballet Theater Orchestra and DANSR artist relations) rediscovered it in the personal library of his friend and teacher, David Weber. It is newly edited and freshly type set in this edition from International Music Diffusion.
