Description

Mozart wrote his Horn Quintet in 1781 or 1782 for Joseph Leutgeb.  It slightly predates the horn concertos.  Not much is written about the Horn Quintet, but the little there is tends to mention the use of two violas in the ensemble (violin, two violas, cello, and horn).

This set of parts includes parts for horn in E-flat and for horn in F.  The E-flat part holds a preface and editorial comments.  Edited according to the Urtext principle.  Study score published separately (Henle HN9826).
