Description
Beethoven composed his Op. 11 Trio in 1797-98. It was first published in 1798. The third movement consists of variations on a melody from a comic opera by Joseph Weigl. Considered unusual among piano trios of the time by putting a clarinet in place of violin. This edition has an alternate violin part.
