Description
Mozart wrote his Oboe Quartet in 1781 for Friedrich Ramm, principal oboist of the Mannheim Orchestra, who had played the Oboe Concerto (K. 314) a few years previously. Luck's set of parts is reproduced from an unknown older edition or editions. Oboe part printed in a curiously smaller paper size than the string parts. No preface or editorial comments. Rehearsal letters but no measure numbers.
