Description
Based on the 3:2 cascara rhythm, this solo employs three different mallets to bring a variet of timbres from the marimba. Both the bars and frame of the instrument are played as the cascara and forward son clave are "drummed" on the marimba. A crowd pleaser-both sonically and visually!
