This historic edition of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, in C Minor, Op. 18 is considered to be one of the composer’s most popular concerti. It is composed of three movements: Moderato, Adagio sostenuto and Allegro scherzando. Also included is an outstanding CD recording, from the Naxos label, by internationally renowned artist, Idil Biret, with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Antoni Wit conducting. Biret has made more than 70 recordings and received numerous awards including: Lily Boulanger Memorial, Boston; Harriet Cohen - Dinu Lipatti gold medal, London; Chevalier de l'Ordre du Merite, France; State Artist, Turkey and many others.

Included is a single score containing both the solo piano part and the orchestral reduction for second piano. Two copies are required for performance.
