Flying Jazz Kittens Curriculum Book & CD

Sherry Luchette has brought her love as a jazz improviser and combined it with her love of teaching young students into a book/CD set that teachers can use in their classrooms. Anyone, including parents or teachers that know just a little bit about jazz, can use the book. It is filled with activities and ideas that are easy to understand, and includes a play-a-long CD that is loads of fun! The activities and songs encourage and introduce the unique rhythmical feel of jazz, as well as provide opportunities to sing blues melodies and play simple instruments in a jazzy style. All of the activities are flexible with many variations included so that teachers and parents can use what works for them. The possibilities are endless! Designed for grades K-3.
