Description
Arioso was originally composed for contrabassoon and piano. It was transcribed for contra-alto clarinet and piano in 2014. Approximately 1.25 minutes, this solo emphasizes the lyrical qualities and melodic potential of the contra-alto clarinet. The work includes a short cadenza and would provide a lovely contrast in a performance.
