Description
This detachable soprano recorder thumbrest helps the younger student maintain a proper hold on the recorder.
To attach the thumbrest on a 3-piece recorder:
- Remove the bottom joint (bell.)
- Slide the thumbrest over the thin end of the recorder until it is at the desired height.
- Replace the bottom joint (bell.)
To attach the thumbrest on a 2-piece or 1-piece recorder:
- Very carefully, snap the thumbrest over the thinnest part of the recorder, just above the bell section.
- Slide the thumbrest up until it is in the desired position.
