Description
Album No. 4 includes 12 pieces by Piazzolla with chord changes in addition to the piano part. Many Argentinean people consider that Astor Piazzolla felt that the form of the modern tango was the outcome of a continual process of change, whilst he nevertheless remained faithful to the spirit of the music written by the “old stagers”. In 1985 the city of Buenos Aires awarded Astor Piazzolla a medal for all his musical works and made him a Freeman of the city. He died on the 4th July 1992.
