Description

The Spanish composer Manuel de Falla lived in Paris for seven years from 1907, where he was inspired by composerssuch as Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Paul Dukas and Isaac Albeniz. Towards the end of this period in Parishe wrote his Seven Spanish Folk Songs (Siete canciones populares espanolas). Cellist Bruno Borralhinho arrangedthese songs for mezzo-soprano, clarinet, violoncello and piano. The edition includes two piano scores, as well asan alternative violin part, which allows a performance with mezzo-soprano and piano trio as well.
