Description

De Colores, or "All the Colors," is a traditional Mexican Folk tune often performed by the famous Mariachi bands. This simple and elegant waltz has been arranged as a flugel horn duet feature. The horns and low brass add harmony to the soloist, and the two trumpets play their traditional roll in a Mariachi band, which is to add color and fill gaps in the melody.

Includes score and parts. Instrumentation: 2 trumpets, 2 flugel horns, 2 horns, 2 trombones, baritone, tuba, and percussion: bells, timpani, snare drum/bass drum, and triangle/tambourine/suspended cymbal.
